In this article I will be discussing the Pasha of Egypt Diamond along with giving possibly a rational reasoning behind all of the deaths associated with this object. I suppose the object is very similar to any other thing that humans possess in that it seems to hold a certain collective sentimental value or statism ideal behind it or some sort of cultural signifigance.
The Egyption Coffin Texts 1 texts of Spells
The "curse of the pharaohs," also known as the "mummy's curse," is a legend that claims disturbing the mummies and tombs of ancient Egyptian pharaohs, especially King Tutankhamun, brings bad luck, illness, or death.
What is statism? Statism is a political system where the state has a large ammount of control over social and economic affairs. I say that statism played a role in this since that the reason behind the poisonings was in order to get the diamond back into the hands of the original territory it belonged to however there are those who would insist that this was a curse however let us use our rational left side of our brain. The "left side" of the brain or hemesphere of the brain uses the following.
The left hemisphere of the brain is primarily responsible for functions related to language, logic, analytical thinking, and problem solving. It also controls the right side of the body. The right hemisphere of the brain controls the other side of this argument in relation the Pasha of Egypt being related to a curse, which is what also applies to naivte along with spatial resaoning, crativity, imagination and emotional processing. The right hemisphere of the brain is primarily responsible for functions like spatial reasoning, creativity, imagination, and emotional processing. It also plays a role in recognizing faces, understanding nonverbal communicaiton and appreciating musical aesthetics.
We living in the 21st century should be able to have rational thought however there is also the idea that curses are attatched to objects which I will not rule out, however these hemespheres should be holistic or holey, which is what the word holistic means.
I mention this because there seems to have been a trend to appeal to peoples right hemesphere in that the Pasha of Egypt which would be based in the right hemesphere o fthe brain and though this might not all together be untrue it is not the only explination for the events that occured, there is cause and effect. This could also be referred to as the psychological model of the occult.
Now as to the cunfusion where the Pasha of Egypt origninated. The Pasha didnt move, the territory changed its borders and allegences along with various other social economic conditions. This is in relaton to the Ottoman empire administering to Egypt as a province which is exemplified below.
The Ottomans administered Egypt as a province (eyalet) of their empire : (Ottoman Turkish ایالت مصر, romanized: Eyālet-i Mıṣr. It remained formally an Ottoman province until 1914, though in practice it became increasingly autonomous during the 19th century and was under de facto British control from 1882. I mention this because there seems to be some confusion as to where the Diamond originated.
Egypt became part of the Ottoman Empire after the Ottomans defeated the Marnluk Sultanate in 1517, and it remained an Ottoman province, though with increasing autonomy, until 1914.
Is the Cretan revolt related to the eye of soran? Is Saruman another word for Sumarian? Is the cross wielding gray bearded man the inspiration for Gandalf the Grey? Was the Pasha of Egypt at this battle and if so has it been at other battles throughout history?
What is the etymology of Sumarian, is it related to a flag of of war or calvary? Is this in relation to Napoleon Bonaparte? Im just specuating so you can decide on your own if theres any relation because its also the flag of the kingdom of Greece.
Are the cretans cretins and associated with the orcs? Recall how I mentioned the hemespheres of the brain earlier, the left controlling the right side of the body and the right controlling the left side of the body, perhaps this is the slight change in Tolkeins extended metaphor.
In slang, "cretin" is an offensive term meaning a stupid, vulgar, or insensitive person, similar to "idiot" or "moron" Me being also a fictional writer will sometimes swtich rolls in order to make a story fit so it could be the case in this instance. Is the Arkadi carnage what Tolkein wrote of in the battle of Battle of Helm's Deep.
Lets now move away from this part of the discussion and discuss the object itself which is The Pasha of Egypt diamond which is believed to be of Indian origin, the diamond being a 40 carat ocagonal stone.
I will list the people who seem to have been affected by this curse which does not only seem to be linked to generational curses but this may open a portal for various entities to enter into ones essense.
The 40 carat octagonal diamond takes its name from Ibrahim Pasha, viceroy of Egypt of the Ottoman Empire however it was owned by Muhammad Ali Pasha.
It seems to be speculated that the pasha was at one time referred to as the Pigot Diamond owned by Sir George Pigot.
Eyre Coote in 1761, Pigot occupied that town on behalf of the East India Company. He returned to England in 1763 with a fortune of £400,000 and was given a baronetcy the following year. One could speculate that this diamond could have been the influence behind J.R. Tolkiens "The Lord of the Rings." I would say that this is possible since the diamond seemed to vanish for long periods of time. Also one should look into the etymology of the word Pasha, The word "pasha," meaning a high-ranking official or governor, originates from the Turkish word "paşa," which itself comes from Old Persian "pati-" ("master") and the root of the Persian word "shah" ("king").
We will start with Ibrahim Pashas.
Ibrahim Pasha was the Viceroy of Egypt who is said to have acquired the diamond for a large sum. Ibrahim Pasha was executed in 1536 despite his relationship with the Sultan and his property was confiscated.
Shortly after Ibrahim Pashas death the jewel was returned to Egypt and acquired by King Farouk who reigned from 1936 to 1952. King Farouk is said to have collapsed at the lle de France restaurant in Rome after consuming oysters along with lamb, some proclaiming that the lamb was poisoned by Egyptian Intelligence however there was no official autopsy conducted.
The next person to have owned the Pasha of Egypt was Barbara Hutton, the Woolworth heiress.
Barbara Hutten the Woolworth heiress is said to have owned later owned the Pasha of Egypt. Woolworths daughter was said to have been a tragic and tormented woman. She married an associate of her fathers, her husband drinking heavily and cheating on her. After reading in a letter to confirm another mistress Edna put on her best dress, sat near a window and consumed a lethal dose of poison, her body discovered several hours later by her daughter Barbara. It is important to note that Barbara Hutten had an affair with the writer Aldous Huxley so perhaps it was do to this affair that she was poisoned. It is well known that Aldous Huxely, the author of "Brave New World," had a brief, albeit notable, relationship in the 1920s, though it's important to note that they were not married and their relationship was not a long-term affair.
Specifications of the diamond are thus, its weight is 40 carats, the dimensions are 23.5x23.5x10.81 mm, it is colorless and its weight of rough is unknown. Its current whereabouts are in Brazil or India in a private collection. The diamond was cut to a round 36 carats fo Barbara Hutton who did not like the historical octagonal diamond. Another appearance of the Pasha is from Deiulafait in 1874 where there is a drawing depicting an octagonal stone which weighs 40 carats. What is clear is that no one really knows where the Diamond is, it may be in Brazil or India while ther are othes who say that it is in a private collection belonging to someone in Italy.
What is interesting about Barbara along with the poison is that it correlates with the history of royal tombs. I would even go as far to say that it is possible that Barbaras death was not a suicide but a very deliberate act of poisoning. Intertweined within the tales of royal tombs is the stories of secret posions, The "king of poisons" was arsenic which was usd to influence royal court protocols.
Diamonds were uncommon in ancient Egypt, their use being primarily symbolic. Believed to embody the light and warmth of the sun god Ra they were thought to bring vitality along with protection. They were often placed at the center of the ankh, this is a symbol of life connecting the mortal world with the divine. They were also used in jewelry and burial artifacts, serving as protection and a promise of prosperity in the afterlife.
Barbara was not the only individual to have seemingly poison themselves however. The youngest of the Woolsworths daughter who was living the good life at the Plaze had over $683,000 worth of jewels stolen from her and five years after this Jennies husband poisoned himself in his office at the Woolworth Fith Avenue residence.
Some more interesting dates or facts that seem to be obscure is that the Pasha seemed to possibly go into the hands of Muhammand Ali of Egypt which seems to correlate for the disapearence of the Pasha of Egypt for such an extensive ammount of time.
"Cairo. In 1926, French Egyptologist Georges Bénédite perished after taking a fall outside the tomb. Arthur Mace, a member of Carter’s team, suffered ill health after twenty years in the field and had to retire from Egypt. He died in 1928, some say from arsenic poisoning. Jumping to 1929, another of Carnarvon’s half-brothers, Mervyn Herbert, succumbed to pneumonia. That same year Captain Richard Bethell, who worked for both Carnarvon and Carter in various roles, died in bed under suspicious circumstances. Months later, his father threw himself out the window of his seventh-floor apartment. His suicide note stated, “I can’t stand any more horrors.” All these people were somehow connected to the discovery of King Tut, and they all died within seven years. But the carnage didn’t stop there. The list of people claimed to be cursed by King Tut grew exponentially over the decades. Anybody who visited the tomb, wrote about it, transferred artifacts from it, or was related to someone who did those things was rewarded with the word curse in their obituary."

""Jumping to 1929, another of Carnarvon’s half-brothers, Mervyn Herbert, succumbed to pneumonia. I will now move on to explain some of the connections with the properties of the occupents who carried this diamond along with the tragic events that occured while also delving into the concept of cursed objects.
There is the fire at Winfield Hall, this area, said to be haunted along with the story of Babara Hutten who was born Barbara Woolworth is said to have had an affair she had with writer Aldous Huxley. The diamond was said to be cut by Barbara Hutten, the diamond was originally a 40 carat octagonal stone.
Next we have Woolworth's daughter Edna who was said to be a very tormented woman who married an associate of her father who ended up drinking heavily and cheating on her. At the plaza hotel, after reading a letter confirming yet another mistress, Edna put on her loveliest lace dress, sat by a window and ingested a lethal dose of poison, her body to be discovered several hours later by Barbara. I will also mention how poison seems to be a common occurence whereever this diamond is involved. Another odd death is Frank Woolworth who despised going ot the dentist and this prejudice is said to have led to his death via tooth infection in April 1919.
The youngest of the Woolworth daughter Jennie, who was livin gthe good life at the Plaza had over $683,000 worth of jewels stolen from her bedroom when she was taking a bath. Five years later her husband wold then poison himself in an apparent suicide which occured in his office at the Woolworths Fifth Avenue residence. Once more the ring seemed to vanish.
Seeking as to why these things occured I looked into who was involved in the occult to make another connection to the invividuals other than the diamond itself. It is known that Huxely Practiced Neo-Vedanta, known as Neo-Hinduism. The particular brance of hinduism that Huxely practiced was Advaita Vedanta which emerged in the 19th centry which was seen as a departure from traditoinal interpretatoins.

I will also say that it could also be possible that this diamond was once held by Ramesses II though its tough to deternmine this for certain do to the allusive nature of the diamond. Some othe rpossible people that may have had contact with the object include Ibrahim Pasha along with King Tut.
I will now delve into the possibility of cursed ground in relation to the diamond. Quartizite is a well known material used in the construcion of buildings. This same material is also used in the construction of a large 3000 years statute of King Ramsees along with being used in the woolworth building.
This material in Ancient Egypt came from quartzite quarries, particularly in the Aswan region, this material was crucial for obtaining materials for construction and art, the Aswan West Bank being a siginficant site for both ornamental and grinding stone produciton. It might be that the Pharos of Egypt were better equiped to deal with such objects due to their knowledge in spellwork. The back and shoulders of King Tutankhamun's funerary mask feature hieroglyphic inscriptions, specifically a protective spell from Chapter 151b of the Book of the Dead, intended to guide and protect the king in his journey to the afterlife.
The Egyption Coffin Texts 1 texts of Spells
Perhaps the diamond is intended to be used as a way to guide the spirit of the Pharoah along their journey giving a spiritual reason behind the curse.
The history of royal tombs is intertwined with tales of secret poisons, with arsenic, known as the "king of poisons," being a frequent choice, and the fear of poisoning influencing royal court protocols and beliefs in magical protections like unicorn horns.
