       Crytography, perhaps you are or are not familiar with this term however for the sake of fulfilling the understanding of future presentations I will discuss what cryptogaphy is.   One of the youngest types of cryptography are rooted back form the days of the spartans who used a scytale, this was a device used for encrypting messages.   This device is also known as a baton cylinder, it is more specifically used to perform a transposition cipher and it is a cylinder that contains a strip of parchment wound around it, the Spartans are said to have used this type of cipher to communicate during military campaigns.   There is indirect evidence that the scytale was mentioned by the Greek poet Archilochus, other Greek along with roman writers during the following centuries also mentioned it, however not until Apollonius of Rhodes was it made clear that the cryptographic device appeared.   A polyalphabetic cipher is a practice of encryption whi...
